A little something for a Friend

I wanted to do something for a very nice neighbour who just had a granddaughter and this is what I came up with. I got the idea from Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine .

I didn't want it to be too big, so I cut some deckle edged acid free art paper into 8" squares. I left the deckle edge on the paper for the outside edge.

I cut 2 pieces of chipboard for the covers and used 1 1/2" rings to bind it. I got most of the paper from Bizzy B's on Bloor.
It took a few days to put together, but I think the results were well worth it.
